Drill for Oil Now

The petition is gaining momentum.  Send the link to CNN, Foxnews, your local news, and anyone you know. We the American people must stand against the politicians who ride around in limousines, with gas we pay for.
High Oil prices are caused by government blocking exploration in Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, and Shale exploration and exploitation in Colorado and Utah.

The Drill for Oil Now! petition.

John McCain and Barak Obama will not drill for oil because oil wells are ugly.
Poverty is ugly my fellow Americans.  We need politicians who understand basic supply and demand economics, and politicians who understand we the citizens of America are paying their salaries.

As soon as legislation is passed, the speculators will flee the markets, and prices will drop, when we are pumping 7 million barrels a day of domestic oil, prices will sink low enough to less the grip of OPEC, other nations, and the speculators.

The time is now.

i thought i explained this already,,, if we complain the junk at a chinese dollar store is not worth a dollar,,, it will regress to the 10 cents it used to cost? i dont think so,,,,

we used to call them the five and dime,,, or a ten cent store,,, now they are dollar stores,,, thats a thousand percent increase,,, or 2000,,, if you want to go with the five,,,

the price of oil,,, and gas,,,, cannot go down,,, if you want it to go down,,, you have to increase the value of your dollar,,,

    thats the bottom line,,,

your barking up the wrong tree in other words,,,,,

Huge Alaska Oil Reserves Go Unused
After 30 years, an insider finally acknowledges the United States has all the oil and gas it needs.
    Exclusive to The SPOTLIGHT
    By Marie Gunther
The United States has more oil reserves than Saudi Arabia but this happy though shocking information has been covered up for years.

The wells have been drilled, it's merely a matter of turning on the faucets to supply America's needs for 200 years.

These astounding revelations have been confirmed by a 30-year veteran oil exe cutive with leukemia who has decided to speak out.

In 1980, Lindsey Williams wrote a book, The Energy Non-Crisis, based upon his eye witness accounts during the construction of the Trans-Alaska pipeline. As a chaplain assigned to executive status and the advisory board of Atlantic Richfield & Co. (ARCO), he was privy to detailed information.

"All of our energy problems could have been solved in the '70s with the huge discovery of oil under Gull Island, Prudhoe Bay, Alaska," Williams said. "There is more pure grade oil there than in all of Saudi Arabia. Gull Island contains as much oil and natural gas as Americans could use in 200 years."

Oddly though, immediately after this massive discovery, the federal government ordered the rigs to be capped and oil production shut down.

Developing Alaskan oil would make the United States completely independent of oil imports, Williams said in his book.

Why is the government covering up such good news? Why does it want to be dependent on imported oil? Do international financiers who are heavily invested in the oil industry want to keep the supply limited and prices up?

Will the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, chaired by Sen. Frank Murkowski (R-Alaska), investigate what could be a criminal cover-up? Will the appropriate House committees in quire? Or the Justice Department? Since the cover-up has extended through four presidential administrations, only public outrage can force action.

"Everything you hear on the evening news and out of Washington is garbage," said Jim Lawler, an oil production manager with ARCO. "Eight wells have already been drilled in the areas environmentalists are claiming we must not go in. We have already been in and out. There was no damage done. All we need to do is start production."

The mainstream media is mind-molding public opinion by repeatedly showing running caribou, touting environmentalists' claims that the caribou and other endangered species and habitats would be destroyed.

"The Alaska Fish and Game Depart ment just did a study on the por cupine car i bou in Prudhoe Bay. The size of the herds has increased since 1969 by 35 percent. The pipeline area is a protected designation and the caribou have figured this out. They have migrated into this area for protection," Lawler said.

The Alaskan pipeline was built in 1977 and runs from Prudhoe Bay to the southern shores of Alaska in Valdez.

we have no energy problems,,, we have currency problems,,, there has never been an energy problem,,, do you see lines at the gas stations? i dont,,,

well,, i saw some a couple of years ago when i went and got my mom and dad when they evacuated houston for a false threat of a hurricane,,, that was because there was no gas delivered to the closed stations during the evacuation,,, that and everyone in houston needed a couple of tanks of gas on the same day,,, that was what we could call an intended shortage,,, or at least man made,,,

saw some a couple of years ago when jimmy rabbit,,, the current president of the us grabbed at oil to create a crisis for his administration,,, a false alarm,,, hahahahahaha,,, and all he really had to do was wait for the iranians to make there move,,, he of course failed at that crisis miserably,,, good thing the oil crisis was fake,,,,

oh,,, i saw some lines the other day,,, in mexico,,, people coming from the us to fill their tanks,,, gas being a dollar cheaper here than there,,,

mostly what i see is empty stalls at the gas stations,,,

thats because the dollar,,, here we go again,,, has dropped to the point no one can afford to buy gas,,,

hahahaha,,, i was in san antonio today,,, and cant make it all the way back to mexico on one tank on airforce1, so i stopped and put 1 gallon in 40 miles from mexico,,, now i can buy the cheaper mexican gas,,, hahahahahaha

i did notice tho before i pumped my gallon the previous purchase was $95. hard to cover on a $5 wage,,, lets see,,, thats ,,, hahahahahaha,,, over 2 days pay to fill the tank,,, i assume it was a fill up,,,

its a conspiracy,,, and this is no theory,,, to remove all cash from the hands of the citizens before the introduction of the amero,,,,

sure,,, im crazy,,, well,,, we shouldnt have to wait long to see if im right,,,

what,,, about 8 months,,, itll be ok,,, but your money will be gone,,,

sorry to have to be the bringer of bad news,,, but,,, you brought it on yourselves by allowing the current type administration to continue to remain in power,,,,

hey,,, my campaign for king was started a couple of years ago,,,,

      you were forewarned,,,,

We have elected a congress that will not act. We have NO energy policy except to drive less, extend daylight saving time, energy saving lightbulbs etc etc. None of this has produced a single drop of domestic oil. This precarious predicament can only be reversed by the nations people standing together and demanding that we drill for oil. We must demand much more from our elected officials. The congress we have now is nothing short of a CIRCUS and an embarassment to this country. We have become a laughing stock to our enemies as a result of whom will continue to fleece us for every dollar we have for our oil until we have the backbone and the balls to stand up and say otherwise!

well,,, i have given careful thought and consideration to our problem,,, our problem not being oil.

i have come up with a plan.

since i have always noted i did not want the job of king of north america,,
and this being a play site to begin with,,, i have decided to throw my support behind someone who may want to be king of north america,,, he has proven himself worthy,,, altho it did i admit require investigation into his deeds.... i am told he is an enemy of the us,,, and he may be,,, at present,,, he is an enemy of the us because your fearless leader declared him so,,,, he declared him so because he offered to help the residents of the us some time back and your fearless leader took this as an attempt to dig into his pocketbook.

the attempt of course was made with oil,,, offering free gas to schools, hospitals,, orphanages maybe,,, id have to check into all offers,,, dont have them at my fingertips,,, low cost heating oil to low income families,,,

im compiling a list of other deeds of this world leader,,, if you know of any,,, feel free to let me know,,, if you know of any wrong doings,,, id like to hear about them as well,,,

he is a leader at present of an oil rich country with a 1% unemployment rate.

i have gotten many replies as to he is "way out there" "he is a whacko" but i have gotten no explination as to why,,, be advised i will accept no explination as to what he is whithout a why,,, he is a whacko,,, because,,,,, he is way aout there,,, because,,,,,
is that too much to ask for?

oh,,, he has had some failed policies,,, he has also been known to say,,, "you know what,,, thats a failed policy,,, lets change it"

his offer to jr to put him on the enemy list of the us??? yea,, he made it,,, why? because he can tell the truth,,, oil dont cost nothing,,,,, it comes out of the ground,,,, its free. dangerous words to our fearless leaders in washington for sure. and a threat to our (their) economy.

who should you throw your support behind in the coming change?

hugo chavez,,, the president of venzuela,,, hey,,, how bout king of america,,,, now that would be an empire wouldnt it....

this little blog dont seem to catch much attention,,,, so,,, i dont guess i can look for any kind of response.

I agree with expanded drilling. However, since it IS controversial, let's get something out of it for the good of the country. I believe, in return for expanded drilling, the American people should be compensated by establishing a TACTICAL oil reserve, which would be used to combat the speculative price hikes that are bound to happen from time to time, thereby keeping oil prices on an even keel. A sort of Federal (oil) Reserve.

Agree with Louis...if we don't stop letting the leftists hijack our economy, government, courts, and educational institutions we are doomed. Don't forget that Algore said that, "we need to artificially raise the price of gas to $5/gallon so that people will drive less." Of course he did this to perpetuate his global warming scam.

Currency problems cannot explain the rapid rise in gasoline costs without an proportional rises in other sectors of the economy.

These people hate the US and capatalism and only want to make the US pay for its evil prosperity; never mind that was the result of hard work and liberty.

Explain exactly how and why this will cause the speculators to flee the market. If you can convince me that it will have this effect, then I'll sign the petition.

Speculators are nothing but leeches who produce nothing but higher prices for everyone else...which they use to line their pockets, without doing an ounce of actual work. speculators should be outlawed.

Just the potential of more oil resources will in fact drive out some of the speculators. Speculation is not a bad thing, it is healthy for the economy as it is revealing a problem. The speculators see government inaction in the United States, tension in the Persian Gulf and South America, and realize that supplies will remain low. If we open domestic drilling and Green River shale deposits to exploration, and exploitation, speculative pressure will fall. When the oil starts being produced, and supplies exceed demand, speculation will shift to falling prices.

America's infrastructure is based on oil. All the trucks, planes, trains, ships, that deliver all goods to market run on oil. All automobiles, as well as all the gas stations across America run on oil. All petroleum based products, run on oil. Although alternative fuels most definitely should be developed, in the mean time America must have oil to keep our economy from screeching to a halt. In addition, our national security requires energy independence ASAP, so that we are not transferring all our wealth to foreign countries who do not like us, and who can cripple us by turning off the spigot, disrupting oil transport to us, or arbitrary oil price hikes. These are all reasons why we must be drilling for more oil right now and right here in the U.S.A. ... ASAP. Nancy Pelosi and her cronies stubborn commitment to petty party politics, instead of realistic concern over our national interest, even in the face of 76% of Americans who want off shore drilling now, will end up in bringing America to its knees.
