National polls lagging U4prez
Every time a new poll comes out, it confirms what we've already known here. The latest is Fred Thompson pulling even with Rudy Guiliani. A couple of these came out June 13th. Thompson has been leading all candidates at U4prez for about a month. The reason these polls lag is that U4prez candidates aren't just likely voters, they are voters. They are engaged in the political process, and are of course going to be a bit more in tune with their candidates.
One other surprise has been New Mexico governor Bill Richardson. He has done quite well on the site, and a few polls are starting to show that he is in fact gaining some ground. The hardest candidate to measure is Hillary Clinton. Her status can fluctuate wildly on the site, and a close look at the votes shows why. She continues to do well among Democrats but her negative among Republicans drives down her rating. (Republicans can rate Democrats, just as Democrats can rate Republicans.
Our U4prez runoffs for June continue. This month we have finally integrated the independent parties in to the process with OliviaLLC winning the first independent runoff. The runoffs are one party against another until we pare down the candidates. You can lose a runoff and still be in the hunt for a primary win.

I am pleased with the U4PRez Staff. They answered concerns and calls accordingly.
I will feature the website on my nationally syndicated blog soon.

with the powerful medium of the internet the spin doctors better not underestimate the "underdogs"

Underdogs & the top tier. Media invented 'top tier' so they would have an excuse to ignore or downplay 'surprizes' to their pre-selected candidates. Only media darlings like Fred T, Rudy the cross dresser, Hillary, Obamma, & other CFR candidates get the top tier rating. That way if a CFR member wins nothing will change for the better. All the while other voices out side CFR control can be ignored, downplayed or lied about. Ron Paul, as so called 2nd tier, has experienced all 3.
Remember GWB talked the opposite of his walk to fool the voters. So did Newt with the Contract With America.
On the other hand there is Ron Paul. An answer to a patriot's prayers. Dr. Ron has the only 100% voting record in Congress to back up his 'radical' agenda of returning to the Constitution as the supreme law of the US. He would also follow the founder's advice regarding US foreign policy & return to a non-interventionist policy. In other words he would not encourage more of what the CIA & the 9-11 Commission called blow back, as Ron would have the US stop meddling in other nation's business.
Ron Paul is the biggest threat to the status quo open borders, NAU promoting, over tax & spend, big business friendly, over grown bloated gov that has been slowly ruining the USA since at least 1913.

I do not support all of Ron Paul's ideas, but I do support him for President. I am a forty year old liberal minded person that has seen the politics of the day getting us nowhere.
The parties want us to slug it out at the polls about all of these devisive issues, but I am sure that they have no real intention of changing any substantive laws.
Take abortion; Are we seriously going to lock up pregnant ladies who try to have an abortion? Mandate impregnating ourselves with all of our old fetus's? Lock up all doctors who refuse to comply with all laws, and start a government monitoring system for all OBGYN's?
I would think that we would only be able to trust military OBGYN's to tell the truth, probably making the practise illegal to civilians.
What about exceptions? If we have any exceptions then all the people who wanted to have an abortion would just lie and use the exception to get an abortion. It would be a standard form with a check box saying that "I vow that this child is from an incestuous relationship with my severely retarted Father/Uncle (Circle One) and that I have no ability to raise a child because of my Psychotic Episodes/Schizophrenia (Circle One), I have abused alcohol/illegal drugs (Circle One) and am currently homeless/prostitute (Circle One).
Or how about changing the constitution to stop gay people from getting married? Could you imagine defiling the Constitution any worse than using the word "GAY" in it, the medical difference between man and woman? Talking about transsexuals, intersexuals, people with injuries, operations, or defects that make it hard to define sex? Then a definition of marriage... What sex is appropriate, and of course, divorce and annulments would need covered too.
we could add a couple of hundred pages with that ammendment. So much for memorizing the constitution kiddies... It's rated "R" now anyways...
Ron Paul wants to talk about real issues, to real problems. Even if I don't agree with everything he believes, he is the only politician out there making an effort to engage us honestly.
