One thing is certain, both parties will see a new March Primary winner. Candidate mduminiak came close to a repeat perfomance but was edged out in his second runoff after winning 5 straight runoffs.

I read the following comments after the inital post. Don't you think that maybe now is a good time for both parties and the Nation to give the 2 party system a rest and let a neutral, yet radical Independant take over for a while? Can we have regular elections instead of a cumulative 1-10 score?
Like if we were randomly paired with people who had about the same raw score as us, and people could vote for who they liked best for a week, and then whoever got the most votes would win, and next week we would be paired with a different opponent?
That way it would be more like a regular election, you'd get so many votes, and your opponent would get so many votes, and whoever got the most votes would win, and next week you could do it all over again. We could check in and see if we're winning or loosing.
We'd just need some way to make sure people weren't voting twice.
